It would be too cliche. I think overall most shows/films which try to portray organized crime such ,similar to the types in darker than black, make it very one-sided. It is always too easy to predict what will happen next. I like how DTB portray the "gray" areas in the world. Not many people are just cantankerous bastards (myself is an exception). Everyone has a past which is unique to themselves. DTB is a great anime because it puts much detail into the characters based on what they have experienced, giving a logical explanation on why they have become who they are. I personally don't care if some guy has some ambition or goal no matter what that goal is unless I can understand why he does.
