Instead of dying every episode, he amazingly manages to not die, despite his best efforts to the contrary. No matter what method he uses, and even with Kafuka-san’s ill-conceived “rescue” attempts, he survives time after time, and even manages to collect a rather impressive, if dysfunctional harem along the way." Funny thing is that Itoshiki-sensei's a drama queen. He's nowhere near hardcore enough to actually succeed (and his cries of "I almost died" or something to that effect don't help), and that adds to the humor. I'd join you in demanding I pop my Ritalin in having such outlandish presumptions, but after five episodes of SZS I literally have no ability to predict what will happen next anymore. It's terrifying in a fun, exhilarating sort of way. I know I could read the manga, but where's the fun in that!
