The End of Lucky Star

My Darling Darling Puriizu!
I must admit, it was with a little sadness that I watched the ending credits for episode 24 roll, with no “Jikai no Raki Suta!” episode preview to follow them.
On the other hand, KyoAni did a great job of making sure that the series went out with a bang. I predict hundreds of new Lucky Star fan videos to hit Youtube within a week or two, now that “full official” dance routine has been revealed.

It was also great to see Akira-sama finally get some screen time in the actual show, and watching her fight with Shiraishi was a nice change of pace. If only he had learned how to grow a pair earlier in the series, the Lucky Channel segment could have been so much more fun.

All in all, it was a great end to a great series. Here’s a big “kampai!” to KyoAni. Next time I’m in Kyoto, I’ll make a pilgrimage to their headquarters one of the top items on my to-do list.
Our usual full episode coverage will be up once subs come out and Guff can get off his lazy butt and watch it in “a language he understands” or some crap like that, with a rundown of our thoughts on the entire series forthcoming shortly thereafter.

Yes, it’s true. I don’t understand enough Japanese to watch an episode and glean much but certain miscellaneous phrases. (hangs head in shame)
So, due to my ineptitude you’ll have to be patient with us for the full review. I’m really excited for the end of lucky star; I considered downloading the raw but couldn’t bring myself to do it. I just want the watch the ending with subs and get the full experience.
On the lighter side, another sub-group picked up Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei! Glee!
I love your animated picture. It’s amusing how cartoonish this scene has been made. I wonder what would have been if all Lucky Star was like that (design style)
