yeah, poor sunohara, he doesnt deserves that
its normal to have one character as punchline, but in this case its gone too far,
personally i love every haters comments on this blog, so accurate especially T.K and 0rion

the one and only sad thing about clannad is sunohara, everybody seems to hate him in every way possible, everybody kicking his butt, mocking him, make him like a total loser, blame him for anything they like, these creatures what we call them as cold-hearted bastards

you guys always talking about how sad this anime is yet dont care about sunohara, the most poorest guy in the world that only has one and only yet backstabbing friend, always ridiculed by the girls, his own sister and every creatures on the earth
you’re proud of yourself for crying so that you can assume yourself as someone who cares a lot about your friends and your family, yet you’re ignoring your most poorest friend, let alone mocking him and laughing at his ass

I thought about giving CLANNAD a chance, since everyone seems to be praising it. I watched the first 5 episodes and man, this show is BOOOORING.

At first I kinda liked the bonding between Tomoya and Nagisa. He has an abusive, alcoholic father, while she’s just recovering from an illness that took away an year of her life. I would have loved this to become a romance anime, featuring the frail girl and her flawed pretender.

But then more girls started appearing, and I was like what the fuck? Is this becoming a harem anime? And then the absolutely craptastic Fuko-chan arc began.

I also hated the character designs. The girls all look like they’re characters in some hentai game. Their mouths are extremely small, even when they smile. Almost all of them behave like eroge characters, displaying that unnatural, exaggerated “cuteness”.

Thanks, but no, thanks. I was expecting something more mature, cause every one tells me how mature CLANNAD is. Yet this is a bland, boring show that’s not even funny. It’s like an eroge without the kinky scenes.

if you wait till the end of the series seasons 1 & 2 u will understand what makes it so great pull through season 1 and be rewarded

Hey, she is very enthusiastic and funny… She always make me laugh. Isn’t it so good to have a sister like her? That her only dream is to make you happy? And who told ya that KyoAni wants you to cry for what’s happening? It depends upon you if it will make you cry!

Fuko is childish and so whatever but she cares much for her love ones specially to her sister! She tries her best! Some siblings out there would not do the same thing to you… Can’t you see? She carves starfish and give it to the people she don’t even know just to gain guests for her sister’s wedding! That’s her ONLY dream!!! Fuko is actually not my favorite among the Clannad characters, but I just like her.

And to those people who hates Fuko, well, just take a look on the other GOOD comments. If you stille HATE her… I can’t do anything now.

I didn’t like Fuko arc so much either. But I loved the whole anime: One of the best animes I’ve watched so far. I don’t think you should be writing things like this if you haven’t seen the whole series +afterstory. In my opinion the start of the series was the worst part of it. It didn’t suck, but it wasn’t as good as the episodes >10 .

Fuko arc is kind of a random comedy that works on some people better than others. Fuko has it’s moments as a childish characters. I gotta admit I laughed at her doings , she’s just so stupid and funny.

I can’t offer my opinion story-wise since I didn’t even last a single episode.
To me, the art was a huge turn off. I mean hell, you can hardly see the white of their eyes…yuck. And the girl was acting a bit too much like a retard in the first 15 or so min. of the first episode, so yeah…off to greener pastures.
