500th Comment Winner and Contest Reminder!
Posted by 0rion on December 19th, 2007 - 12:45 am

Our Christmas Contest is still ongoing. I will be drawing names from those who commented to select a winner tomorrow, exactly one week after the contest began, so for those who haven’t left a comment yet, this is a friendly reminder to answer the four questions so that you have a shot at the $30 Amazon gift certificate we’re giving away.
And of course, if you’d rather not enter in the contest for whatever reason, please still do go ahead and leave us any suggestions you may have. Just make a note in your comment that you’d rather not be included in the drawing.
In addition, I’m pleased to announce the winner of the other $30 gift certificate, which goes to the person who made the 500th comment on the site.
Ironically, the 500th comment on the site was a spam comment that somehow got past Akismet. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to have provided a valid e-mail address, and thus are unable to claim their prize. >_>
Having deleted that comment, the new 500th commenter and glorious winner of our Comment Contest is none of than the illustrious, highly esteemed, and valued commenter…

Congratulations!
You should be receiving an e-mail shortly to confirm your address; please contact us if you don’t get it.
And to everyone, thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and suggestions. Half of the fun of this site is in the great comments you all add. We really appreciate it!
Also, to Sloppy, who made 11 comments in a row, numbers 502 – 512…close but no cigar; zannen buddy. Nice try, though.

Bummer
Holy crap, I actually won. Life has been an utter crapfest since last week with all the grueling exams I had to stomach, but this made my day! Thanks!
And while I’m deeply saddened the spambot missed out on its chance to cash in, I’ll take it anyway. =)
A… Winrar… is you…
Excuse me, I need to go inflict massive head trauma to myself to get that image out of my head, thank you.
@ Sloppy
Maybe next time.
@ Sagacious C
Glad we could brighten your day a bit!
Um, and I think this is the part where I’m supposed to say, “Don’t forget to go and tell all your friends how awesome Epic Win is, and how all the cool kids hang here!” or some kind of cheesy marketing line like that.
@ Dominic Raze
You too can become a Winrar! Now for a limited time only I can send you a free autographed copy of my inspirational e-book, “Epic Winraring”, and you too can be awesome.
@ Orion
…Where’s my shotgun. No, where’s my clone army of Sailor Bubbas…
Actually spamming the blog……why didn’t I think of that!
Hah, the thought entered my mind, but I was just too damn lazy to go through with it. Laziness always pays off in the end, folks.
@ Sagacious C
“Laziness always pays off in the end.”
Spoken like a true sage, good sir.
