Happy 2008! Here’s hoping your year goes “just as planned!”
Yes yes, I know; we’re waaay behind the rest of the world on this “New Year” thing. Everyone else is already sooo over 2008 by now. 
Nevertheless, allow us to wish you a Happy New Year!
あけましておめでとう！今年も宜しくお願いします！
(Akemashite omedetou! Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu!)
Or, if you want to be like all the cool kids in Japan, just say:
あけおめことよろ！ (Ake-ome koto-yoro!)
And while we’re at it, a little Neo Venezia-style New Year greeting - “Auguri di Buon Anno!”
To celebrate ringing in the New Year, I’d also like to make the following New Year’s Resolutions:
1. To discover the correct way to eat a choco cornet
2. To use more balsamic vinegar
3. To overcome fear of eyedrops and dentists
4. To find at least one cute moeblob creature in my refrigerator
5. To stay away from nice boats (especially at anime conventions)
6. To eat more smoked cheese nyoro~n
7. To remember all those cute girls I macked on when I was 10 and then conveniently forgot
8. To pierce the heavens with my drill
9. To believe in the me that believes in myself
10. To continue blogging and have fun with it! 
I hope you all will help me to stick to my resolutions for the year. The going may get tough, but I’m sure I can persevere!
