Season one definitely had the better OP, both song and video-wise. Also, summer episodes with all the swimming pools and fireworks are usually where they flaunt the budget, so I thought the relatively poor animation felt more noticeable this episode in contrast =/

Still a fun watch though.

I was expecting something to happen, but it’s still all fun and good. I thought there were actually 2 parts to both Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody and Endless Eight, but it seems like the info I had was wrong

As always, Kyon comes right out and says out loud what everybody was thinking.

A dub never adds anything to the experience of the anime lol, it only substracts.

Personally I thought the episode could use a bit more Kyon and/or snarkyness. I sure wouldn’t want them to reduce Kyon into the ’sane’ person who points out all the jokes…

It was certainly enjoyable though.

well so far they did novel 1 in direct order
then novel 3 in direct order, and now they started novel 5.
so i’m guessing they will do that in direct from novels order

the question is when do we get novel 4?
(one of the more awesome novels)

They actually only told 1/2 of the story from Endless Eight. For those of you who didn’t read the novel, this episode might end the way it is fine, but there’s a whole lot more story after Kyon’s head hit the pillow.
